In addition to pictures and videos that are assigned to the different virtual microscopes, a set of animations have also been included that are found in the TEM microscope and assigned to Humans. The idea behind these animations is to imagine that the virtual TEM microscope also has the ability to resolve and view in real time various cell process in the context of where and how they occur in the cell. These animations include DNA replication, Meiosis-Female, Meiosis-Male, Mitosis, Transcription, and Translation. Photosynthesis is also available but it is in the Fern species list of images. The animations can also be found in the Lab Presets list when you load the Cell Animations link.
