Stockroom

The stockroom is used to select one of the four gas experiments and bring it out to the laboratory. Simply click on the desired experiment to bring it to the laboratory. All other experiments will be greyed out. Only one experiment can be in the laboratory at a time. To return an experiment using the stockroom tab, click on the icon next to the experiment to return it to the stockroom.  

Preset Experiments

The presets tab gives access to a list of gas experiments that are predefined and ready to run. To select one of these experiments, click on the presets tab and then click the desired experiment. The appropriate experimental chamber will be automatically selected and suspended in the stockroom. Users can also save their own presets - which will be located in the My Saved Labs section of the presets tab - by setting up the laboratory the way they would like and clicking on the Save Lab button near the bottom of the tray.

The following point should be kept in mind: The preset experiments that are included with the gases lab cover many of the fundamental experiments that describe the properties of ideal and real gases. These preset experiments are only a small set of the large number of experiments that can be designed and implemented in this simulation.
