Located in the Live Data tab is the Graph button. Clicking on the Graph button will bring up a graphing window that will plot the temperature as a function of time. The x-axis is time starting at zero and the y-axis is the temperature in Celsius. The time axis shows the elapsed time since the Graph Window was opened or since the graph was last cleared. When the time trace reaches the right edge of the graph, the data will be shifted to the left in one-minute intervals. The Save Graph button will save the graph to the lab book, and the Clear button will clear the graph. When allowed by the instructor, the Graph Window is an effective means to monitor a calorimetric experiment, but it is not intended for any serious data analysis. Data analysis should be performed on the actual data saved to the lab book using the Save Data button located at the top of the Live Data tab.
